Vast-Auto Distribution expands in Quebec with acquisition

Adquisición

Canada. Vast-Auto Distribution, a subsidiary of Groupe Del Vasto, a distributor and marketer of auto parts in Eastern Canada, and shareholder of the Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance, acquired the assets of Pièces d'Autos Victo and Freins Démarreurs Plessis, as well as the shares of Pièces d'Autos Thetford.

Founded in 2008 by Normand Roy, the organization has evolved over its 15 years and established itself as a strong wholesaler and retailer of auto parts in south-central Quebec, Vast-Auto Distribution said.

Since opening the first of three locations in Victoriaville, the company has been committed to serving professional service centers through a wide variety of products and an exceptionally skilled staff of parts specialists.

Roy will hand over the reins to Groupe Del Vasto, as both companies share a common vision and the same values.

"We have always worked hard to ensure we achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction by offering an extensive inventory of high-quality parts with a strong focus on service," Roy said.

"Groupe Del Vasto has clearly established itself as a leading Canadian distributor within the automotive aftermarket, and I know they are the best fit for the future of my business, loyal customers and dedicated employees. I am confident that Groupe Del Vasto will continue to build on our success."

Mauro Cifelli, President and Chief Executive Officer of Groupe Del Vasto, said the completion of this transaction aligns with Groupe Del Vasto's long-term growth plans, expanding its presence in Eastern Canada and allowing it to capture additional market share.

"We value Mr. Roy's trust and are honored by his decision to move forward with Groupe Del Vasto. Their continued involvement in managing the business will ensure a smooth transition and we are committed to maintaining the relationship established with their employees and ensuring that customers continue to receive the best service they are accustomed to."
