Mexico. With a symbolic ceremony, Volex gave the starting signal for the construction of its new plant in San Luis Potosí, in a ceremony held on the morning of Monday, April 21, on Manuel Gómez Morín Boulevard, in the Milpillas neighborhood.
The new complex will generate more than 2,000 jobs, significantly strengthening the local labor market and opening new opportunities for hundreds of families in the region.
The event was attended by municipal authorities, representatives of civil associations, special guests, prominent workers and executives of the company. Among the attendees were Enrique Francisco Galindo Ceballos, mayor of San Luis Potosí; Eng. Elia Korina Toro Reyna, director of Economic Development of the municipality; Mr. Emilio de Jesús Ramírez Guerrero, Secretary General of the F.T.E. – C.T.M.; and Ms. Imelda Elizalde Martínez, president of Canacintra.
During his speech, Raúl Villarreal, Vice President and CEO of Volex, underlined the importance of the project for both the company and the region:

The event concluded with a message of thanks from the company to all the actors who have made this new chapter possible, highlighting the value of teamwork and the trust of the community in a path of joint growth.
