International. From now on, Sina Ataei assumes the international leadership of press and media relations at Liqui Moly, a German manufacturer of motor oils and additives.
Over the past six years, the journalism graduate has successfully boosted the company's international presence on social media and the internet, serving as Director of Content Strategies. Now, he succeeds Dr. Peter Szarafinski, who died suddenly last year.
The 34-year-old with Iranian roots is making great strides: "I look at my new job in the company with a little respect, but also with joy," is how Sina Ataei describes his feelings about his new job at Liqui Moly.
In any case, he is well prepared. His journalistic studies in Berlin provide him with a solid foundation. He has accumulated extensive experience in international media relations in other large companies in Munich, Berlin and Ulm.
Since 2016, he has been successfully contributing his skills to the business communication of the lubricant specialist in Ulm. Most recently, in his role as Director of Content Strategy, he has been responsible for the strategic orientation of all online activities.
"I am pleased that we have been able to embark Sina Ataei as a replacement for the Director of International Public Relations. The reason behind this substitution is sad. I cannot imagine a better and more dignified successor as a representative of our company," says Marco Esser, director of corporate communications.
"Sina Ataei enjoys a great reputation in the company, knows both us and our products and brings a wealth of knowledge in international media relations. In addition, his enormous affinity with digital topics and his passion for the world of motorsport and its sports, where we feel at home with our sponsorship programs, are of great help," adds Esser.
From now on, Sina Ataei will be the interlocutor in this medium-sized German company for journalists who are not from the German-speaking field. His position complements the Director of Public Relations for Germany, Austria and Switzerland, which remains the responsibility of Tobias Gerstlauers. Both cover the media field within corporate communication at Liqui Moly.
