eBay Launches "Guaranteed Fit" Purchase Protection Program

Compra de repuestos

International. eBay Motors announced the launch of eBay Guaranteed Fit, a program that the company says gives users even more confidence when buying and selling on the marketplace.

Buyers can now look for the green compatibility checkmark "Fits" in selected parts and accessories lists to assess whether the part will fit their vehicle.

If the piece arrives and doesn't fit as expected, eBay Motors says it will cover the cost of the return and the buyer will receive a full refund, allowing for smoother and more reliable transactions for both buyers and sellers.

"People are buying and selling parts online like never before, and eBay Guaranteed Fit helps take the guesswork out of the shopping experience," said eBay Motors Vice President Chris Prill.

"Precise adjustment is critical to completing a project; from simple repairs to major modifications. With today's launch, eBay Motors enables buyers to search and purchase millions of parts and accessories in the marketplace with that crucial additional warranty."

The launch of eBay Guaranteed Fit is the latest advancement designed to help people shop in the marketplace with confidence and ease, including the Authenticity Guarantee for sneakers, bags, jewelry and stickers, and the expansion of the condition rating for eBay Refurbished, according to the company.

According to the company, eBay Guaranteed Fit is an additional protection under eBay's Money Back Guarantee and covers most new and used items in the Parts & Accessories category, with more to be added in the coming months.
