Automechanika Shanghai concludes energized by a year of development

Automechanika Shanghai

International. On February 18, exhibitors and visitors bid farewell to the 17th edition of Automechanika Shanghai, held at the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center.

All signs point to an increase in market activity in the global automotive supply chain, with visitors from 89 countries and regions attending the show.

Through innovations at the fairgrounds, networking activities and events, the four-day exhibition also reflected many growing trends around vehicle connectivity and new energy, and relinked ties between domestic and overseas supply chain.

A renewed sense of anticipation was felt throughout the fairgrounds, with numerous domestic and foreign partners coming together for the first time since the previous edition in 2020. Overall, the event saw a 33 percent increase in visitors, a sign that the market is open for business and trade.

Participants also praised the program's version of the brand's Innovation4Mobility concept. In the Showcase, the areas Innovation4Mobility Mainstage, Green Repair Zone, A New Era of Commercial Vehicles and Motorsports & High Performance drew attention to key market segments in China with strong growth and development potential.

This year, a total of 58 events of the complementary program were held simultaneously with the main show, which covered the latest trends and global developments in the market.

Once again, AMS Live was a key communication gateway that allowed remote and on-site users to explore purchasing decisions and capture the latest market information. Video-on-demand content and exhibitor search on the platform will remain open until March 17, 2023.

The next edition of Automechanika Shanghai will take place from November 29 to December 2, 2023.
