Latin America. A series of experts from the auto parts industry lead the academic program of the second edition of AutoAmericas, to be held on March 7 and 8 at the Miami Airport Convention Center (MACC).
The inaugural conference will be given by Francia Hernández, CEO, partner and founder of Hernández y Abogados S.A.S. in Colombia and S&S Custom Francia Hernández Advisory Corp. in Miami Florida, with more than 20 years of professional experience, which includes her accompaniment as a consultant to different guilds and associations, including the Association of the Automotive Sector and its Parts (Asopartes). Precisely, his presentation will deal with the customs challenges for the export of auto parts.
Next, Luis Miguel Abuin, CEO of ISSO Enterprise, will explain from an experience in 2017 why the spare parts business is saturated at all levels and how to become profitable again.
Next, Carlos Gómez, Latam Customer Success & Business Development Manager at Trakmotive, will delve into solutions in constant speed transmission assemblies.
Next, Andrés Caicedo, Chief Engineer of GSP Latin America, will explain how correct cataloguing exposes the event.
Finally, the initial day will close with the story of the success story of the organization recognized by the CALA Awards as the Best Mechanical Workshop in Latin America.
Friday's program, marked by lectures given in English, will be opened by Ronnie Pool, Senior Territory Manager of Epicor's Automotive Division, on the pros and cons of managing one's own auto parts catalog or using a commercial alternative.
He will be joined by Evaristo García, CEO of Integrate Data Facts, with his presentation on the ACES & PIES standard for electronic parts catalogs in the Americas.
Next, the president of the Automotive Parts Remanufacturers Association's (APRA), Joe Kripli, will once again present a topic of relevance to the sector from the point of view of remanufacturing.
