Scott Robertson, New Vice President of Business Development, Multi Parts

United States. Scott Robertson, a 25-year veteran of the automotive and heavy-duty industries, joined Multi Parts (MPS) as Vice President of Product and Business Development.

Robertson began his career in the automotive industry in 1998, while attending the University of Pittsburgh, with a co-op assignment at Toyota Motor Manufacturing.

After graduating, Scott spent five years in the electronics division of Visteon, a large top-tier automaker. In 2006, he transitioned into the heavy-duty vehicle market, holding multiple leadership positions at Grote Industries, where he defined new product strategies that resulted in significant sales growth in North America and Europe.

Most recently, Scott spent 12 years at Motor Coach Industries and NFI Group holding various senior sales, marketing and operations positions within the aftermarket parts and services business.

In his new role at Multi Parts, Robertson will have direct responsibility for Sales, Product Engineering, Product Management and Product Innovation and will report directly to Brian Cohn, CEO of MPS.

"We are proud to add someone with Scott's experience and caliber to our executive team here at MPS," Cohn said.

"Organizing key business functions under a single leader will increase our ability to design complete solutions for the customers we serve. Scott will play a pivotal role in MPS's strategic growth within our core automotive market and adjacent markets."

"I'm excited to return to my automotive roots and bring my expertise in the heavy-duty vehicle, transit and construction aftermarket to MPS," said Robertson.

"MPS has a reputation for providing high-quality turnkey solutions in the aftermarket supply chain and I am excited to work with Brian, the executive team and our partners at Radial Equity Partners to take Multi Parts to the next level."
