Mahle Motorsport hires new marketing manager

Mahle Motorsport

United States. Mahle Motorsport, the performance division of Mahle North America, has announced the addition of former Hot Rod magazine editor Rob Kinnan as the company's marketing manager.

Kinnan, recognized in the industry as one of the leading content creators for the performance and racing industry, will be responsible for all marketing decisions for the division, including media buying, print and digital content, creative, sponsorships, budgeting, public relations and events.

Kinnan has a storied career in performance and racing with lasting relationships established from over 30 years of involvement in SEMA, PRI and the motorsports community. In addition to having been editor of Hot Rod Magazine for seven years, he also worked as editor of Mustang Monthly and several other titles and, most recently, as marketing director of ATI ProCharger.

"I remember when Mahle Motorsport first appeared on the scene, making its way in a very crowded and competitive race piston manufacturing environment. Today, Mahle Motorsport has earned the respect of engine builders, racers, racing teams and high-performance enthusiasts, partly through its participation in various racing series, but more through its incredible product development that is tested on the track," says Kinnan.
