International. Since 1997, Aruna Anand has held numerous leadership positions in different business areas of Continental Automotive.
Effective Dec. 1, Anand will assume responsibility as president and chief executive officer of the company's North American Automotive Group Sector.
Continental also announced that Anand will retain her current role as head of the Architecture and Networks business area for the North American region.
In this role, Anand is responsible for all global architecture and networking business activities supporting North America-based customers.
Since joining the company in 1997, Anand has held numerous leadership positions in the various business areas of the Continental Automotive Group sector.
She was Head of Software for Gasoline Engines and Transmission Systems for the Electronic Controls business unit within the company's then-Powertrain division. He also led Wireless Group Engineering within Continental's Connected Car Networks business unit.
Prior to being appointed Director of Architecture and Networking, Anand was responsible for leading Continental Engineering Services, a business unit that operates independently and provides comprehensive engineering services.
