Cooper Standard announced that it has won an Automotive Innovation Award from the Society of Plastic Engineers (SPE) for its BEV (battery electric vehicle) Thermoplastic Thermal Management Solution supplied to the 2023 General Motors Cadillac Lyriq.

Cooper Standard was recognized during the 51st annual Automotive Innovation Awards Gala, held Nov. 2 in Livonia, Michigan. The event is the oldest and largest recognition event (established in 1970) in the automotive and plastics industries.

"This is a remarkable honor for Cooper Standard as the company continues to evolve into the future of mobility and meet the needs of our customers," said Tom Stimson, vice president of engineering and product development for Cooper Standard.
