The AAM Group announced that Engine Parts Group shareholders voted to join AAM. AAM will assume operations of the Engine Pro brand and program effective January 1, 2023.
"The AAM Group is pleased to welcome Engine Pro to our family of programs," said AAM President Tim Odom.
"We believe the relationships between engine parts distributors, supplier partners and local stores that this group owns align well with AAM's core competencies."
Odom said, "We look forward to working with these new members and suppliers to build a broader range of services and resources and create more value in the engine parts segment of the aftermarket."
AAM's current marketing programs, Parts Pro, Performance Corner and Total Truck Centers, serve resellers, suppliers and distributors in the performance aftermarket and truck accessories.
With its focus on engine parts and machine shops, Engine Pro says it will bring an exciting new dimension to AAM's portfolio.
Engine Parts Group, which functions as a distribution network for branded internal engine parts and a producer of specialty engine parts under the name Engine Pro, adds that it serves thousands of customers from nearly 100 distribution centers on three continents.
