International. The update further enhances the user experience by giving technicians the ability to access module-specific data flow elements and special tests directly from the DTC results screen.
Bosch has pointed out that the latest update of the ADS 5.0 software was developed taking advantage of feedback directly from technicians. This will allow them to classify and search for saved reports using filters that include year, brand, model and other factors.
In addition, the company ensures that this will allow users to increase the efficiency of reports by accessing more options.
The company maintains that this improves the overall experience and adds the following features and optimizations:
Access to the data flow/special tests from dtc scan results: Technicians will no longer need to leave the DTC results screen to access pages of module-specific data flow elements or special tests, eliminating the need for technicians to memorize the module when performing a scan.
Improved sorting and search options for saved reports: Users will now be able to sort saved reports by date, VIN, YMM, and repair order. In addition, technicians can search for saved reports by year, make, model, VIN, repair order number, report date range, report type, and scan mode.
This way, technicians can now search and share vehicle reports efficiently without losing progress on current scans.
Likewise, the update allows results of the last scan and new coverage. Thus, technicians will no longer need to run a scan again by recovering the latest scan results and toggling between Scan Reports and other screens.
The 5.0 update also includes new coverage for Ford models and all new General Motors vehicle systems, including Ford EcoSport, E-Transit, Mustang Mach-E, Transit-150, Transit-250, Transit-350 and HD, and more.
Bosch ADS users with a current subscription can install the updates after automatically receiving the download.
