Latin America. The Nissan Shatai plant in Japan announces the renewal of the portfolio of light commercial vehicles in Mexico.
Nissan URVAN is the leader in the mid-range segment, which is part of this portfolio. Currently this has three different bodytypes to meet the customer profiles of collective, cargo and passenger in Mexico.
This line of vans, which arrived in Mexico in 1987 and is the third generation in the country and the fifth worldwide, began today the production of its new model. Of this, a commercialization of more than 7,000 units is planned.
"With Nissan URVAN MY23, Nissan Mexicana takes another step in the renewal of its product portfolio, offering all customers the best option in the segment in the country," said the senior director of Marketing of Nissan Mexicana, Rodrigo Centeno.
"Nissan URVAN is the right arm for business in Mexico, as well as reliable, with great durability, with ideal size, versatility, low cost of ownership and fuel efficiency, among other aspects," he added.
Finally, Centeno stressed that, with this renovation, customers are offered better options for their businesses, "with versions for cargo, collective and passengers, thus becoming their right hand for their daily activities."
Nissan URVAN is a benchmark in the light commercial vehicle segment. From 2010 to date, a total of 100,107 units have been sold, reflecting customer leadership and preference.
Nissan Mexicana reported that it will soon give more data on the updates to this model and date of arrival in Mexico.
