United States. Christian Brenneke is the new Executive Vice President Electronics & ADAS Solutions at ZF Group.
With a presence in 26 countries and more than 6,000 employees globally, Brenneke will lead a division that brings to all technology areas of ZF's Next Generation Mobility Strategy, including:
- Automated driving
- Vehicle Motion Control
- Built-in security
- Electric mobility
Christian has an extensive track record as a global leader in business, engineering, and project management. His most recent position was as Senior Vice President Research and Development in ZF's Commercial Vehicle Solutions Division, a position he has held since 2022. He joined ZF (formerly WABCO) in 2008, holding various roles at ZF WABCO, where he eventually rose to Senior Vice President of Engineering and Chief Technical Officer, before leading R+D in the Commercial Vehicles Division.
Christian studied at Leibniz University in Germany, where he earned a bachelor's degree in Mechatronics and a PhD in Computer Science. He also holds an MBA in General Management from the European University of Applied Sciences.
