Dana Aftermarket Improves Southeast Asia Operations

International. Dana Incorporated held a groundbreaking ceremony to officially announce the establishment of its new spare parts distribution center in Singapore.

The Singapore distribution center covers markets in Southeast Asia, South Korea, Japan, Taiwan and Hong Kong, covering an area with a total population of 860 million people and 200 million vehicles.

The new Singapore distribution center will fully leverage the existing resources of Dana's service and assembly center in Singapore for the Southeast Asian market, and bring more Dana brands and spare parts products to the market.

Initially, the new distribution centre in Singapore will offer a full portfolio of Victor Reinz ® products, and later this year will add the Spicer ® and GWB ® brands. Ultimately, the Singapore distribution center will serve as a local distributor for all Dana brands and spare parts products, including new product categories tailored to the needs of the Southeast Asian market.

"Singapore has a superior geographic location, efficient logistics and transportation, and exceptional talent, making the new distribution center an important addition for Dana," said Bill Nunnery, Dana's senior director of global spare parts sales and marketing. "Together with the Wuxi distribution center in China and the Hosur distribution center in India, the addition of the Singapore DC brings Dana to 100 percent coverage in the important Asian region."
