International. Autopromotec, the trade fair for automotive equipment and aftermarket, scheduled from May 21st to 24th, 2025, at the Bologna exhibition center, celebrates a significant milestone: 30 biennial editions, 60 years of history.
On the eve of a truly historic edition, the organizers are taking significant steps towards achieving comprehensive sustainability. In fact, the journey towards the certification of sustainability management systems for events, the UNI ISO 20121 standard, has already begun.
Sustainability is one of the common themes that will be articulated and explored during the exhibition. Alongside this, space will also be given to connectivity and artificial intelligence. These are the main trends set to dominate the automotive aftermarket market, and they will find ample representation in the halls of the Bologna Exhibition Center.
The first step in this direction is a fully digital registration procedure, allowing exhibiting companies to manage their participation directly from their reserved area within the Autopromotec website. Registrations have been open since May 20th, and organizers can already confirm the growth trend observed and projected during the pre-registration phase.
- Advertising -"The new registration procedure allows us to confirm our commitment to comprehensive sustainability of the process. Nowadays, industry, economy, and the job market must be rethought from a sustainable perspective. This represents for us a commitment and a concrete goal, of which the digitization of the registration procedure is just a starting point. This not only means less paper waste but also a more efficient and faster experience for our exhibitors, who can enjoy the fair with just a click of a button," explained Autopromotec CEO, Renzo Servadei.
Therefore, increasing space is given to new technologies, focusing more on software and artificial intelligence applications, ranging from sensor technology to mechanical and electronic engineering, alongside the sectors traditionally present at the event: from automotive equipment to tires, spare parts to lubricants, as well as service networks and automotive services.
