Mexico. The multinational automotive company Stellantis is reportedly analyzing investing 24,000 million dollars in the Isthmus of Tehuantepec to open plants focused on its electromobility projects.
This is reported by Darío Celis in his column in El Heraldo de México. This proposal comes after Stellantis announced a $6 billion investment in Brazil and a meeting between the automaker's CEO, Carlos Tavares, and President Andrés Manuel López Obrador in 2022.
The project would be part of Stellantis' Dare Forward 2030, a strategic plan to achieve the ambitious goal of turning the Amsterdam-based multinational into a net-zero carbon mobility technology company by 2038.
