BorgWarner obtains Great Place to Work certification for its Torreón plant

Mexico. BorgWarner, a company that transforms mobility products and innovations, announced that its plant in Torreón, Coahuila, was awarded, for the first time, the Great Place to Work certification, which recognizes employers who create an exceptional experience for their employees.

The certification was granted to the plant thanks to its emphasis on staff service and excellent work environment, in addition to the creation of safe spaces for employees and full and total compliance with NOM-035, which aims to establish the elements to identify, analyze and prevent psychosocial risk factors. as well as to promote a favorable organizational environment in the workplace. The balance between the personal and professional lives of employees is one of the points that are most taken into account when applying for this certification.

In conjunction with the above, the BorgWarner plant also organized various activities to promote leadership, teamwork and recognize the valuable work of employees, with celebrations such as perfect attendance, birthdays, anniversaries, as well as activities to increase engagement and other training, recreation and integration among workers, among many others.

The Torreón plant joined BorgWarner in 2020 as part of the acquisition of Delphi Technologies and currently has a team of 370 people.

Obtaining this certification consolidates BorgWarner's commitment in Mexico and joins the other 4 BorgWarner plants in the country that have been awarded the certification, in addition to consolidating all BorgWarner plants in the state of Coahuila as Great Place to Work (Ramos, Saltillo and Torreón).

Ricardo Bianchini, Plant Manager at BorgWarner Torreón, said: "Obtaining the Great Place to Work certification is a great pride for our plant in Torreón.
