Mexico. Quartux, a Mexican company that provides energy storage systems for industries, provides a system based on smart lithium batteries implemented by ABC Inoac, a manufacturer of automotive components and systems in the world.
This system ensures a 40% saving in electricity consumption thanks to cells that store the energy provided by the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE) system, when it has a lower cost (depending on the schedule).
Subsequently, it is used when rates increase, which also protects the company against blackouts, distributing energy in a strategic way and according to the needs of ABC Inoac.
Quartux installed solar energy panels to supplement these savings. The auto parts factory did not make any investment for the installation of equipment based on industrial lithium batteries and artificial intelligence (AI).
The strategic utilization of energy is central to this business, as ABC is responsible for creating plastics processing systems and components for the global automotive industry, fluid management, HVAC distribution systems, flexible products, interior and exterior systems, and air induction systems.
It also performs injection and blow molding processes, thermoforming, sheet extrusion, interior and exterior painting, and material composition, which requires large amounts of electricity.
