Alliance Promotes Justin Hebert to Vice President of Category Management

United States. The Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance announced that Justin Hebert has been promoted to Vice President of Category Management effective November 1, 2023.

In this role, Hebert will lead Alliance's category management department, which includes all passenger, light and medium vehicles. service, along with the Alliance Commercial Vehicle and Heavy Duty program. Hebert will report directly to JC Washbish, vice president of sales and marketing.

"Justin continues to excel in every role he has played with us in the Alliance," said J.C. Washbish.

"The growth we have seen in the past year in the CVHD program under his leadership has been significant with his continued efforts to foster business relationships with our manufacturing channel partners and new members joining the CVHD program. The Category Management department is in excellent hands," he said.

Hebert, a 10-year veteran of Alliance, joined the company in October 2013 as a category manager. During his first decade at the company, he played a pivotal role in conducting categorical reviews as well as successfully launching several exclusive national brand product lines, the Alliance said.

In his new role as Vice President of Category Management, he will lead the category management team and facilitate interactions and relationships between Alliance shareholders and industry channel partners. Hebert will oversee the Alliance's Category Management Committee, as well as the Channel Partner Advisory Council. He will lead the Alliance's efforts for all product shows, including AWDA and HDAW. Hebert will also be responsible for working directly with the Alliance's information technology and sales and marketing departments.

"The most important thing," Washbish added, "is that Justin is a definite leader and a team player. He's a guy you want to work with; whether it's your coworker, a shareholder, or a channel partner, you know you can rely on Justin to answer the call and deliver. We are excited to see where he will take the Category Management department under his leadership."

Hebert will continue to be responsible for developing and cultivating the Alliance's exclusive national brands through manufacturing partnerships and collaborating with the marketing and sales teams. The Alliance's national brands include Parts Master, Perfect Stop, Perfect View, The MacPherson Ride, UltraStop Friction and Auto Body Master.

Hebert is the liaison at the Alliance's headquarters for the Category Management Committee, which leads the group's category and private label decisions with manufacturing channel partners. Hebert is also the Alliance's point of contact for category management and supplier relations within the Automotive Parts Services Group.

Prior to joining Alliance, Hebert was a product manager at Gates Corporation and a category manager at Parts Warehouse. Hebert holds a master's degree and a bachelor's degree in history from Louisiana Monroe University.

In 2016, he was named the winner of the Auto Care Impact Award: Four for the Future and over the years has proven to be a strong supporter of ACPAC. He is married to his lovely wife Amanda.
