Standard Motor Products Expands Catalog with 170 New Part Numbers

United States. Standard Motor Products, Inc. (SMP) announced the release of 170 new part numbers in the first quarter of 2025, expanding its coverage for next-generation imported and domestic vehicles.

Among the new features are additions to the Vehicle Control and Temperature Control divisions, consolidating SMP's position in the auto parts market.

This new launch reinforces the company's commitment to innovation and the constant updating of its portfolio. Among the most notable products are ignition coils for Hyundai models such as the 2024-21 Elantra and the 2024-22 Kona, as well as the expansion of the Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) program. In this category, parking assist cameras compatible with vehicles such as Chrysler Pacifica 2024-18, Voyager 2024-20, Nissan, Toyota and Honda are added.

In addition, seven new ABS speed sensors have been incorporated, extending coverage for more than one million Hyundai vehicles until 2025, as well as for the 2023-20 Kia Soul and General Motors vans until 2024.

The catalog is also strengthened in the collision repair segment, with new hood latch assemblies, tailgate latches and multifunction connectors, designed for more than 100 million vehicles.

Four Seasons®, SMP's brand specializing in HVAC systems, added 70 hose assemblies, increasing its coverage for more than nine million vehicles. Among the new applications are fluid lines for 2023-19 Subaru Forester, discharge lines for 2024-21 Kia Sorento and 2023-21 Hyundai Santa Fe, as well as suction and fluid lines for 2023-21 Toyota Tacoma.

Air door actuators were also introduced for more than three million General Motors pickup trucks, in addition to models such as the 2021-19 Nissan Altima and 2020-19 Infiniti QX50.

The remanufactured and new compressor program also grew, with expanded coverage for popular models like the 2022-18 Honda Accord and 2023 Honda Civic. In addition, key components in the categories of electric coolant pumps, water inlets, thermal management modules, heating cores and auxiliary engine coolant pumps were added.

Jack Ramsey, SMP's Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, highlighted that these additions respond to the needs of the industry:

"The first quarter of 2025 brought with it the introduction of many of the components that professional technicians will be looking for. In addition to offering complete programs with industry-leading coverage, we are also committed to delivering the highest quality parts in the aftermarket, so our distributor partners can recommend Standard® and Four Seasons® with complete confidence."
