Pirelli launches the fifth generation of the P Zero with cutting-edge technology

International. Pirelli has unveiled the new generation of its iconic P Zero tyre, designed to improve performance and safety in driving.

With 40 years of history in the ultra-high-performance (UHP) tire market, the P Zero evolves with innovative technologies based on artificial intelligence and virtual testing.

The new P Zero stands out for its improved manoeuvrability and reduced braking distances, qualities that have led this model to obtain the "A" rating on the European wet grip label. Its optimized design includes improvements in structure and tread, which increases cornering grip and ensures even wear.

Artificial intelligence has been key in its development, allowing Pirelli engineers to analyse tyre dynamics with unprecedented accuracy. These virtual tests have reduced development times and optimized resources to offer a highly competitive product.

Adapted to electric mobility

The new P Zero range covers sizes from 18 to 23 inches, with more than 50 models already available. In addition, it incorporates Elect technology, designed specifically for electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles. This innovation reduces rolling resistance by up to 10%, improving energy efficiency and extending the range of cars.

Presence in high-end models

The new P Zero has already been homologated for prestigious vehicles such as the Lamborghini Urus SE, Audi A5, BMW M5 and M5 Touring, Mercedes GLE and GLS, Lucid Gravity, Polestar 4, Nio ET9 and Xiaomi SU7. This tyre is part of Pirelli's strategy to remain the top choice in the premium and ultra-high-performance segment.

A 40-year legacy

Since its introduction in 1985, the P Zero has equipped more than 3,000 custom versions for iconic models such as the Ferrari F40, Lamborghini Aventador, McLaren P1 and Porsche 911. The constant evolution of this line of tires has allowed Pirelli to remain at the forefront of automotive technology, collaborating closely with the main manufacturers in the industry.
