Mexico. Citic Dicastal, a Chinese company dedicated to the production of high quality aluminum wheels for prestigious automotive brands, opened its first plant in Mexico.
The ceremony was in charge of the governor of the State of Coahuila de Zaragoza, Miguel Riquelme, accompanied by executives of the company Citic Dicastal.
"The arrival of Citic Dicastal is a clear sign of the confidence that international companies have in our state and in the quality of our workforce. We are sure that this plant will generate a positive impact on the local economy and contribute to the development of the region," said Riquelme.
The plant, located in the Santa María Industrial Park, in Ramos Arizpe, represents an important investment of 100 million dollars in its first phase and is expected to generate more than 1,200 direct and indirect jobs.
With the opening of this plant in Mexico, the company of aluminum wheels for recognized brands such as Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi, Volkswagen, Toyota, Honda, General Motors, Ford, Chrysler, among others, seeks to consolidate its presence in the Latin American market and strengthen its supply capacity to its customers in the region.
