United States. Fisher Auto Parts has acquired Massachusetts-based Bagnell Auto Supply. The deal was announced by Herb Godschalk, president of Fisher Auto Parts.
The acquisition includes seven Massachusetts locations in Hanover, Marshfield, Quincy, Randolph, Rockland, Stoughton and Weymouth, in addition to the company's central warehouse and headquarters in Rockland.
Bagnell Auto Supply has served the Southern Massachusetts Coast area for over 36 years. As a trusted supplier of automotive parts, Bagnell has developed multigenerational relationships with service facilities in all of its local markets.
According to Fisher, the company is known for providing outstanding service and competitively supplying the right products for the right applications to its diverse customer base.
"Since 1986, when Tom and Craig Borr purchased Bagnell's first Rockland location, have strategically increased the company's footprint and developed a talented team of experienced store staff and reliable drivers, everything fits perfectly with Fisher Auto Parts," said Godschalk.
"We are pleased that Craig will remain as regional manager to oversee the business and wish Tom all the best in his retirement."
