United States. Elgin Industries, a U.S. manufacturer of engine and chassis components for automotive, commercial, agricultural, industrial, defense and other applications, announced the appointment of Chris Anderson as executive vice president.
Anderson, who joined Elgin in 2000, was most recently executive vice president of Elgin World Trade's operating unit. He reports to Elgin's President and CEO, Bill Skok.
In his new role, Anderson will assume additional operational responsibility for the company's domestic and foreign businesses.
Elgin serves original equipment (EO) and aftermarket customers in nearly 60 countries from its engineering, manufacturing and distribution complex in Elgin, Illinois.
The company's brand and product portfolio includes Elgin engine and chassis components; Elgin Pro-StockTock and Elgin Black Ice performance parts; and Elgin Rxemedy lubricants and additives. The company is also a leading provider of advanced heat and cryogenic treatment services.
"Under Chris' leadership, Elgin World Trade has experienced tremendous growth, both in the range of products offered and in the regions and customers we serve," said Bill Skok.

Anderson resides in Geneva, Ill., with his wife, Brannon, and their two children. He earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Miami (Ohio), Oxford, Ohio.
