"The main task is to know the market"

Autoaméricas Show

Latin America. The inaugural conference of the AutoAmericas Show Congress will be given by Elena Méndez and Sandro Murtas, who will discuss resources for U.S. export financing.

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) was created 70 years ago. Since 1953, this federal government agency has helped entrepreneurs and small business owners pursue the American dream.

Elena Méndez, Regional Director of the US Export-Import Bank, and Sandro Murtas, main export financing manager of the International Office of the International Trade of the Agency at the Export Assistance Center of exports, USA

Both will open the academic program planned for the first version of autoaméricas between next March 24 and 25 at the Miami Airport Convention Center.

For an hour, both panelists will address those products that allow small exporting companies to increase their export sales of US goods and services abroad, mainly through the US exporters programs of Exim Bank as the Export Credit Insurance.

According to Elena, some of its benefits are the reduction of risks by providing protection against catastrophic losses due sales with existing customers.

To this adds an improvement of liquidity by accelerating the cash flow taking loans against accounts receivable. She also adds, generates experience in credit management. "Relieve the charge of credit risk management taking advantage of Exim's international experience," says Elena.

On the other hand, Sandro insists that the main task is to know the market: what is its dynamic, as well as the best strategy to enter it. For him, the financial part is always an important element.

"You can be a good seller, but a sale is not a sale until you charge. Sometimes entrepreneurs focus on the sale, but they are neglecting the financial part, the part of the credits, the payments and that is the problem; It is not that the company fails because it does not have a good product or service, often it is because of the management of the company" he says.

Discover more in the conversation that both will hold on Friday, March 24 at 12 noon in the MACC1 Hall, next to the rest of the conferences confirmed that you can know here. For registration to the event, access the next link.
