United States. Since January 1, Cyrus Scarver is the new information technology (IT) security manager for the Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance.
With this expanded role, Scarver will play a key role in facilitating, entraining, communications and IT security readiness at Alliance headquarters for Alliance shareholder members.
Alliance President and CEO John R. Washbish said, "Cyrus has been a valued and key member of Alliance's IT team for quite some time."
"It continues to be a leader in information security and in protecting our head office, as well as shareholder members and their data," he says.
Scarver plays a critical role for Alliance's San Antonio headquarters as the need for vigilant IT and system security becomes increasingly crucial to sustainability.
"Cyrus Scarver is an integral member of Alliance's information technology team," said Dale E. Hopkins, Alliance's chief information officer and vice president of information technology.
"While Cyrus has led many aspects of our security efforts, including employee training and testing, this expanded role will augment her functions directly related to cybersecurity for alliance systems and shareholder members. We are in good hands with Cyrus managing this important IT function."
The Alliance says Scarver plays a critical role as the need for vigilant IT and system security becomes more crucial.
