JNPSoft OptiCat has announced that Skyline Emissions Inc. has joined the JNPSoft OptiCat network.

As the automotive and aftermarket community continues to adopt data standards, more and more aftermarket aftermarket data recipients (distributors and other data users) are requesting high-quality digital product data and applications that comply with Auto Care ACES (Aftermarket Catalog Exchange Standard) and PIES (Product Information Exchange Standard) data standards.

Skyline Emissions designs, develops and manufactures diesel particulate filters (DPFs) and diesel oxidation catalysts (DOC) for the aftermarket for medium- and heavy-duty diesel vehicles. The company said this strategic partnership will improve its cataloging for customers.

"I am delighted that Skyline Emissions has chosen to partner with us to provide its standardized PIES product information to its distributors through JNPSoft OptiCat Network," said Director of Sales and Marketing, Don McEntee.

"It's fantastic to be able to add Skyline Emissions data to our growing list of suppliers using our network to distribute their digital data to their customers."

"Since e-commerce sites are easy to set up, many of our distributors have created their own web stores to sell Skyline products. We need a simple and robust way to enable our webshop distributors to access the latest Skyline product data," said Adam Gross, vice president of sales and marketing for Skyline Emissions.
