International. NAPA becomes the first in the automotive aftermarket to offer Qmerit's turnkey charging installation solutions.
The National Automotive Parts Association LLC (NAPA) has announced a new initiative to help drivers and partners nationwide transition to an electric future through a unique collaboration with Qmerit, a North American provider of installation services for electric vehicle charging and other electrification technologies.
NAPA says it will be the first in the automotive aftermarket space to offer buyers Qmerit's turnkey EV charging installation services.
According to the company, as the number of electric vehicles on the roads grows steadily, this new collaboration will help NAPA fulfill its initiative to increase the availability of electric vehicle charging stations from coast to coast.
Charger buyers can now access Qmerit's installation services directly from NAPAonline.com, where customers can easily search and purchase the right charger for them.
"Along with our existing commitments to increase education and training of new technicians, NAPA is also committed to sourcing and increasing the resources that provide our network with the most important parts and accessories to maintain an electric vehicle," said Genuine Parts vice president of emerging markets Susan Starnes.
"This effort with Qmerit expands the ways we are bringing the necessary change to the aftermarket industry, while honoring the path we've traveled to get here. We are excited to continue serving this growing segment of drivers and maintain the level of service that current NAPA customers expect," said Starnes.
This integration allows buyers to conveniently request a quote online for their installation and connect with one of Qmerit's certified installers.
Qmerit's certified network spanning the U.S. and Canada is comprised exclusively of licensed electricians who are insured, background-checked, trained, and monitored to ensure safety and quality of service.
