Topdon enters the electric vehicle charging market

International. The company announces the launch of its first charging product, the PulseQ.

Topdon, a comprehensive provider of diagnostic solutions, has announced its entry into the electric vehicle (EV) charging market with the launch of PulseQ, the company's first EV charging station product.

The company says the announcement of this new product comes in response to the market's biggest shift towards EV technology and the need for a higher volume of public charging stations.

According to Topdon, PulseQ's SAE J1772 (Type 1) plug offers versatility and adaptability to make EV charging widely accessible to most American AC EVs, removing most brand barriers.

The company notes that the AC charger features a slower form of charging that has proven to be smoother with vehicle batteries and, in turn, prolongs battery life compared to DC's fast charging solution.

The charger is compatible with brands such as Ford, GM, Volkswagen, Nissan, Audi and others. PulseQ's compact design allows users to save space with multiple mounting options, including exterior ones due to its flame retardant materials and the ability to operate at temperatures from -22°F to 131°F and up to 95% humidity.

"We are looking forward to launching our new EV product line with the launch of PulseQ. This is a critical turning point for TOPDON as we navigate a greener, lower-carbon future for all," said Topdon founder Mike Zhou.

"As the electric vehicle market continues to grow and gain popularity, we understand the importance of our consumers having a reliable and reliable product," Zhou said.

"In many cases, users face the uncertainty of whether a charging station is compatible with their vehicle. Our PulseQ alleviates this concern as its adjustable current range of 6 A to 40 A powers most electric vehicles on the market today."
