Latin America. During the hybrid event from September 28 to 30, Ben Brucato will discuss the importance of proper access to vehicle data.
Ben Brucato, vice president of engagement for the Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association (AASA), will be presented virtually at the Mexico 2022 ECHO Automotive Summit on September 29.
During a session called "The Right to Repair: Access to Vehicle Data," Brucato will discuss the importance of vehicle repair data for the independent aftermarket. In addition, he will talk about what AASA is doing to support the industry in the fight for consumer choice and a fair market.
"With the growth of new vehicle technologies, including cloud-based connectivity, telematics, OTA software, electric vehicles and ADAS, the aftermarket repair community must have access to vehicle repair data," said Ben Brucato, vice president of engagement for the Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association.
"A fair market and the ability for consumers to choose where and with what part their vehicles are repaired is fundamental to our society and culture," Brucato said.
The Mexico Automotive Summit 2022 ECHO, a hybrid event, will take place September 28-30 and will begin with a day of in-person lectures and networking opportunities.
