Gridiron Capital Partners with M&D Distributors

Partnership

International. M&D serves as a comprehensive solution provider for every type of diesel application, with a focus on heavy-duty, high-power vehicles used in the truck, infrastructure, agriculture, marine and transportation markets.

Investment firm Gridiron Capital, focused on partnering with founders, entrepreneurs and management teams, announced an investment in Magneto & Diesel Holdings, LLC (M&D), a distributor and remanufacter of mission-critical diesel engine parts from Warren Equity Partners.

"We are honored to partner with Grant and the broader M&D team to build on the company's legacy of nearly 80 years of exceptional quality and service for the diesel engine aftermarket," said Gridiron Managing Partner Kevin Jackson.

"The company is positioned as the preferred partner in a large and highly fragmented market, and we are excited to help the M&D team further accelerate growth. Our collective cultural alignment in Winning Together will allow all members of the M&D team to benefit from the company's continued growth."

Gridiron Capital highlights the strong reputation M&D has built throughout its more than 75-year operating history for its excellent customer service and consistent quality.

It also highlights M&D's remanufactured parts offering, which recycles the engine parts that are exchanged and rebuilds them to a quality like new at a lower cost, reducing environmental waste and energy use by giving a second life to existing components and increasing cost savings for customers.

"Driven by its strong partnership model with leading OEMs and manufacturers, the company also provides unique in-branch consultative sales expertise and one of the industry's broadest product suites serving all diesel needs," the company added.

M&D CEO Grant Garrett said: "We pride ourselves on keeping our customers running and are excited to leverage Gridiron's expertise in the automotive aftermarket and value-added distribution space to expand our capabilities and continue to improve the customer experience."

"We had many options for choosing a partner for our next phase of growth, but our shared strategic vision made selecting Gridiron an easy choice," Garrett said.
