International. The move brings with it the merger of its Cedar Falls and Waterloo stores into a larger facility to serve customers.
Arnold Motor Supply announced that it recently moved to a new location in Waterloo, Iowa. The 19,500-square-foot facility provides enhanced retail space, expanded inventory, and additional distribution capacity.
According to the company, the move brings with it the merger of Cedar Falls and Waterloo stores into a larger facility so that the company can continue to support its customers' growing aftermarket parts and supplies needs.
"The average age of vehicles on the road continues to rise," said Eric Johnson, president and managing partner of Arnold Motor Supply. To this is added "the shortage of new and used vehicles throughout the industry, which increases the demand for spare parts," he says.
Johnson himself argues that adding a distribution center in the Waterloo area will allow better access to parts for stores in his area and ultimately for the customer.
"Our customers don't have time to wait. When they need a part, they usually need it right now," he says.
Arnold Motor Supply ensures it will continue to serve the communities of Cedar Falls and Waterloo at the 2710 Wagner Road location.
