Mexico. Over the next three years, Nissan will invest $700 million in Mexico. According to the directives of this car manufacturer in the country, the investment will be concentrated on improving its vehicle production plants, the automation of processes and the training of its human talent.
This announcement coincides with the celebration of the 60th anniversary of Nissan's presence in Mexico, where it has achieved important figures, such as the delivery of more than 203 thousand units at the end of 2021.
Nissan produces six of its vehicle references in Mexico: Frontier, NP300, Versa, Kicks, Sentra and March.
Although no further details of this investment were known, it is expected to also include a part for the adaptation of its plants in order to provide a greater offer of electric and hybrid vehicles in the coming years.
