Latin America. Latin Press, organizer of events and b2b media for Latin America, announced the acquisition of the assets of Aftermarket International, the leading international media owner in the automotive parts and spare parts market.
"We are planning the launch of a Congress and Exhibition for the auto parts market in Miami, called AutoAmericas, which we are co-organizing with Aftermarket International," said Max Jaramillo, CEO of Latin Press.
"It made sense to acquire the publication to work more closely with the regional industry and offer a more comprehensive service to both our readers and our sponsors."
Former owner Brad Glazer continues as editor of the title and will be a key presence in both the publication and the exhibition in the future.
Aftermarket International is a bilingual media outlet that reaches approximately 10,000 international Spanish-language automotive aftermarket professionals in Latin America, in addition to another 8,000 English-language readers worldwide.

"Our project with Latin Press fits very well," said Brad Glazer. "We have the experience in the aftermarket industry; they have experience in media and event production. We're going to make a great team. In fact, our first initiative will be the Alegría™ reception at AAPEX (November 1 to 3) for Latin American attendees in Las Vegas."
