Gold Eagle Company Renews Leadership

United States. Gold Eagle Company, a company with more than 90 years of experience in the manufacture of high-performance chemicals for the automotive industry, announced changes in its executive leadership.

Marc Blackman, who has led the company as CEO for the past eight years, takes on the additional role of chairman, replacing Rich Hirsch, who is retiring. In parallel, Matthew Banach has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), consolidating his strategic role within the company.

Gold Eagle, recognized in the automotive sector by brands such as STA-BIL, 303, HEET, 104+ and TriNova, has maintained its commitment to innovation and expansion into new markets. In 2022, it acquired Lubrication Specialties, manufacturer of Hot Shot's Secret high-performance additives and lubricants, strengthening its portfolio and presence in the industry.

Blackman, with more than 30 years with the company, has been instrumental in Gold Eagle's growth. Under his leadership, the company has diversified its offerings, entering sectors such as powersports, gardening equipment, agriculture and boating. His new role will allow him to focus on long-term strategy, while Banach takes over the day-to-day operation of the business.

Banach, who began his career at Gold Eagle in 2011, has risen through the ranks thanks to his innovative vision in marketing and business development. In recent years, he led the acquisition of Lubrication Specialties, adding the Hot Shot's Secret brand to the company's portfolio. His appointment as COO and CMO reinforces the company's commitment to innovation and sustained growth.

"I believe our success lies in the values and direction set by Bob and Rich Hirsch, who understood that while the product should be the best on the market, the true engine of a company's success is its people," Blackman said.

For his part, Rich Hirsch, former chairman of the board, underlined the importance of Blackman's leadership in the evolution of Gold Eagle: "One of the best decisions I made was to hire Marc Blackman. He has led a new era for the company that ensures our father's legacy continues into the future."

With these strategic moves, Gold Eagle reinforces its commitment to quality, innovation and growth in the automotive aftermarket.
