China. Automechanika Shanghai 2024 concluded its first day with a record turnout of 6,763 exhibitors, representing a 20% increase compared to last year's event.

He also underlined the fair's commitment to sustainability, with eco-friendly initiatives throughout the event and with exhibitors, speakers and Innovation4Mobility Exhibition Areas promoting sustainable practices.

Li Zhang, general manager of China National Machinery Industry International Co. Ltd, also praised the event, noting that China's automotive industry, driven by sustainability and cutting-edge technologies such as autonomous driving and electric vehicles, is experiencing exponential growth. "Automechanika Shanghai reflects this strength, with international exhibitors eager to explore innovations in the Chinese market," said Zhang.
