Plews & Edelmann launches 61 new references

United States. Plews & Edelmann®, the manufacturer and marketer of power steering components, has expanded coverage in both the Edelmann® product line and the Edelmann Elite® line.

These innovative solutions reduce repair costs and eliminate the need for reprogramming or realignment. The newly launched products offer coverage for more than 32 million vehicles in operation (VIO).

New releases include:

  • 42 power steering hoses with coverage for more than 16 million registered vehicles, with applications for GM, Ford, Acura and Toyota, including GM crossovers and fleet-oriented Ford Super Duty applications.
  • 6 hard parts for power steering have been added to the Edelmann Elite line of new racks, pumps and gears. These 6 SKUs have expanded coverage beyond 90% of aftermarket sales demand . The newly introduced SKUs include 5 pumps and 1 exclusive Plews & Edelmann rack. This brings the total number of new hard parts SKUs in the program to 374, with 65 exclusives.
  • The addition of a full synthetic power steering fluid for Honda/Acura covering more than 13 million vehicles in operation.
  • The expansion of the EPS category with an additional 12 SKUs, offering alternatives to replacing electronically assisted power steering components, which are often expensive and often unavailable.

Anthony Holguin, Director of Category Management at Plews & Edelmann, announced the new parts additions, noting, "We are expanding coverage and adding key parts to our industry-leading power steering product portfolio. In the first half of this year alone, Plews has introduced 61 new power steering hoses, hard parts, fluids, and innovative kits and tools for electric power steering components. Many of these products are exclusive aftermarket offerings."
