Jetz App sells 75% of its shares to Grupo CIOSA

Mexico. Jetz App, the Mexican startup that delivers fast parts to mechanical workshops, has announced the sale of 75% of its shares to Grupo CIOSA.

This acquisition marks a significant milestone for both entities, consolidating a strategic alliance that promises to transform the auto parts sector in Mexico.

Since its founding in 2021, Jetz App has shown impressive growth, reaching sales exceeding 135 million Mexican pesos (approximately 7 million dollars), capturing the trust of 16,000 customers and accumulating more than 250,000 downloads of its application. Its platform, with a metasearch engine that covers more than 760,000 parts for more than 43,000 vehicles and 1,500 brands, has revolutionized the way in which mechanical workshops manage their spare parts needs.

Katria Oviedo, CEO and co-founder of Jetz App, expressed her enthusiasm for this new phase: "This alliance with Grupo CIOSA will allow us to expand our strategies and strengthen our initial commitment to improve the supply chain, ensuring that our innovations generate tangible value for mechanics."

The synergy between the two companies promises to redefine the landscape of the auto parts market in Mexico, taking advantage of Jetz App's expertise in cutting-edge technology, including digital product development, cloud platforms, big data management and artificial intelligence. This merger not only promises significant operational improvements, but also greater capacity to meet the growing demands of the automotive market.

Miguel Espinosa, CTO and co-founder of Jetz app said: "I am deeply grateful to my entire team and the progress we have made and we are eager to continue revolutionizing the auto parts industry with the application of technology by always putting the customer at the center of our effort."

With Mexico consolidating itself as a global leader in the production of auto parts, reaching record export figures to the United States, the acquisition of Jetz App by Grupo CIOSA comes at a crucial time. This strategic partnership not only strengthens the position of both companies in the market, but also positions Jetz App as a key player in the technological revolution of the sector.
