Colombia. A group of Colombian entrepreneurs has developed PITZON, an application that connects vehicle owners with certified mechanic shops through geolocation technology and artificial intelligence.
The application is intended to make it easier to find a reliable place that can meet your needs and is also close to your locations.
"Many vehicle owners are wary of auto repair shops due to poor practices and low-quality services, while garages struggle to attract new customers due to a lack of marketing skills and technological tools." said Juan Camilo Chavarro, CEO of PITZON.
Among the highlights of the application is its ability to generate a pre-diagnosis of any vehicle failure using artificial intelligence, providing a preliminary assessment. In addition, thanks to geolocation technology, the application can locate the nearest and most suitable workshop to provide the service that the vehicle needs.
The platform also allows repairs to be scheduled in an agile way and keeps a complete history of preventive and corrective maintenance, which the owner can access at any time.
The application will be available in web and mobile format from the third quarter of 2024 with a network of 90 workshops distributed in Cali, Medellín and Bogotá. Starting in 2025, the app is expected to reach other Latin American markets where the platform can meet similar needs and offer value to vehicle owners and auto repair shops.
As for growth projections in the first year, it is expected to reach a network of 150 establishments, carry out 21,600 scheduled services through the platform and transact more than 1,200 million dollars.
