Tara Cevallos, CEO of Goodyear Belts, will be chairperson of the OAC 2024

International. MEMA Aftermarket Suppliers announced the appointment of Tara Cevallos, CEO of Goodyear Belts, as chairperson of the OAC for 2024.

This appointment marks Cevallos as the second woman to hold the position in the council's more than 100-year history. As a second-generation member of the OAC, her leadership is anticipated to bring fresh perspectives and continue the council's success.

In her role at Goodyear Belts, Cevallos has successfully guided the start-up through challenges such as the COVID-19 pandemic, playing a crucial role in establishing Goodyear Belts as a prominent player in the industry. Under his leadership, Goodyear Belts was recognized by The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company as one of its top ten licenses by the end of 2023.

"We are thrilled to welcome Cevallos as this year's OAC Chair," said Ben Brucato, Vice President of Membership and Engagement at MEMA Aftermarket Suppliers. "I also want to extend our deepest thanks to the immediate previous chairman, Daniel Tristan, for his exceptional leadership and contributions over the past year."

This quintessential international networking event of the year brings together more than 500 international buyers, distributors and suppliers from more than 40 countries around the world. Separate registration is required.

The 2025 Global Summit will be held February 20-21, 2025, in Miami, Florida.
