United States. The TecAlliance Shareholders' Committee announced the appointment of Peter van der Galiën as the new CEO of TecAlliance GmbH, with effect from 1 January 2024.
He succeeds Jürgen Buchert, who will retire at the end of the year after 22 years as CEO of TecAlliance GmbH and Caruso GmbH.
"The TecAlliance Group has become a global market leader," said Jürgen Buchert.
"TecAlliance is well prepared for the digital transformation of the aftermarket and rapidly developing mobility ecosystem and will continue to offer its customers added value with data-driven business models, digital process solutions and standards-based services," said Buchert.
"Now is the ideal time to pass the baton and further develop TecAlliance as a world-leading platform in this new market environment and make it competitive by 2030," he added.
Van der Galiën said: "I look forward to building on the achievements of the TecAlliance team and further developing TecAlliance's business as a global player in the field of automotive data and digital business processes."
"Jürgen and I will work closely from October to ensure a complete handover and will align our business plans with Neil Fryer (Chairman of the Shareholders' Committee of TecAlliance GmbH and Vice President and Global Managing Director Aftermarket PHhinia) and the Shareholders' Committee.
