International. Martin Fischer was appointed CEO of FORVIA, succeeding Patrick Koller after a three-month transition period.
Fischer, who has served as deputy CEO since December 2024, will take on the challenge of strengthening the group's position as a technology leader in the global mobility market.
With more than 25 years of experience in the automotive industry, Fischer has excelled in industrial optimization, digital transformation, and advanced engineering development, key areas to address challenges such as electrification and software-defined vehicles.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of FORVIA, Michel de Rosen, highlighted Fischer's strategic vision and his experience with leading manufacturers in Europe and the United States. "Their leadership will be key to accelerating innovation and consolidating our presence in global markets," he said.
For his part, Fischer pointed out his commitment to the group's sustainable growth: "Our priority is to boost operational performance and profitability, while advancing the transformation of the business. We will also conduct a strategic review of our portfolio to strengthen our financial position and take advantage of new opportunities."
Patrick Koller will remain a member of FORVIA's Board of Directors until the General Assembly on 28 May 2025, when the appointment of Fischer as Director will be formally proposed.
