United States. Marketparts has announced that Malcolm Sissmore has joined the organization as its North American Area Director.
Sissmore comes to the international sales platform with rich experience in the North American aftermarket for many years, most recently as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Delphi Technologies-BorgWarner.
"His experience spans both new and remanufactured products, making him a valuable addition to our team," notes Marketparts.
Sissmore has a long history in the Canadian and North American aftermarket. He held several positions of increasing responsibility at Delphi and Borg-Warner starting in 2008.
Sissmore worked in a leadership role at exhaust manufacturer Ultra-Fit and his early days in the industry can be traced back to his days in the world of engine machining and rebuilding.
He has also been heavily involved in industry initiatives, including Canada's auto industry, including a term as president in 2005.
He also currently serves on the board of directors of the aftermarket fundraising organization, Shad's R&R.
