Mexico. As part of a business strategy, Nissan opened its auto parts offering through Mercado Libre Mexico. This collaboration seeks to offer a totally direct relationship with the customer.
Through a statement, it was specified that Nissan's online sale is complemented by 11,000 items for interiors and exteriors, outside of different auto parts of all models in the brand's catalog.
According to Nissan, this new buying opportunity will include products such as engine oils, tuning kit, carpets, wheels, caps, shock absorbers, mirrors, skulls, air filters, spark plugs and more items.
To provide a greater benefit to the buyer, the acquisition of auto parts suitable for each vehicle of the brand is offered through an option to enter the car's data to check if it is compatible with the auto part in question.
"This alliance allows us to continue promoting the automotive category within our platform," said Amelie Mossberg, Head of Autoparts Marketplace at Mercado Libre.
With the inclusion of the sale of auto parts in Mercado Libre Mexico, Nissan is looking for further growth in e-commerce. To date, it has registered a 68% increase in sales in the digital market.
