The 22-2 issue of Aftermarket International is now online!

Edición 22-2 AMI

Latin America. The 22-2 issue of Aftermarket International magazine gathers the echoes of the first version of the AutoAmericas Show and discovers the technologies that dominate on the transmission market.

"We have had a very pleasant experience. We hope that many people will continue to attend in the coming years and that they will be able to know all the variety of products that all these companies have for Latin America and the Caribbean," said Xavier Campodonico of GJ Parts & More, one of the participants of the fair held at the MACC in Miami, and which is preparing for its second delivery in the same place between March 7 and 8, 2024.

In the article below, ZF engineer Nelson Gutierrez highlights a number of solutions that are gaining traction on the global market for high-performance vehicle transmissions.

"Today there are dozens of models, sizes and technologies present in the transportation industry, and for all of them there is a global structure of authorized services and spare parts," he says.

Then, the technical consultant of Emmetec & Orpay, Carlos Panzieri, reveals some more secrets in the second part of his text on the revision of electric hydraulic steering pumps.

On the other hand, the president of the Association of Automotive Parts Remanufacturers (APRA), Joe Kripli, shares part of his conference at AutoAmericas Show about the recognition of remanufacturing as a crucial component of the circular economy.

"Remanufacturing is the ultimate form of recycling. By extending product life two or more times, remanufacturing keeps products out of landfills longer than other recycling methods."

Finally, our Professional of the Month of this issue is Prince Chopra, who tells his journey from his native India to Medellín, Colombia, where he imports spare parts from his mother country to distribute in the Latin American region.

Find this and other notes in our Spanish and English issue.
