PARTS iD Announces CFO Transition

PARTS iD Inc., the owner and operator of, among other verticals, CARiD.com, a leading digital commerce platform for the automotive aftermarket, announced the appointment of James Doss as its chief financial officer (CFO) effective January 1, 2023. Doss will take over following the retirement of current CFO Kailas Agrawal later this year.

"We appreciate the work Kailas has done to bring us to this point as a public company and wish him well in his retirement," said PARTS iD CEO Nino Ciappina.

"Looking ahead, we are excited to have Jim join PARTS iD. Jim's extensive financial and strategic experience, including his time as CFO of a public company, will be an important asset as we continue our focus on improving liquidity and profitability through margin, expense and investment optimization," Ciappina said.

Most recently, Doss served as Chief Financial Officer at Indyme Solutions, LLC, a leading provider of active loss prevention and customer engagement systems software and technology services, where he oversaw financial reporting, budgeting, general ledger, credit and collateral, and corporate finance.

Prior to his time at Indyme, Doss served as CFO at RF Industries LTD, a publicly traded manufacturer of interconnect products and systems in wireless/wired telecommunications, data communications and industrial markets.

Earlier in his career, Doss held several senior finance positions in various organizations, leading to improved financial performance, increased productivity, and improved internal controls.
