Aftermarket International visited the Autopartes Colombia 2022 Show

Feria Autopartes Colombia 2022

Colombia. From Aftermarket International we were at this meeting, held from June 8-10 in the exhibition space of Plaza Mayor in the city of Medellín, generating contact with manufacturers, importers and distributors of the automotive industry.

The Feria de Autopartes Colombia 2022 was characterized by the presence of major brands, commercial stands and diversity of international guests. He highlighted the variety and offer of the delegations from 15 different countries, which included the United States, Turkey, Peru, Mexico, Dubai, Spain and Costa Rica.

Despite the continuous rains that the city experienced during the days of the event, the influx of public was constant, the organizers of the event have more than 18 thousand visitors. In their preliminary figures, they indicated that more than 200 million dollars of business were generated. This is not counting the 3,000 jobs generated by this meeting.

With this we can say that the 250 exhibitors went through a hectic day, of which it is expected that more businesses and different alliances will be closed.

Carlos Andrés Pineda, president of ASOPARTES, successfully qualified this 2022 version of the fair: "The exhibitors transmit us a total joy with the volume of business that is projected. The fair is a scenario of networking and being able to do business from company to company and, of course, these businesses will be projected over time".

For his part, Luis Chung, president of ADK Corporation, commented: "The impression I am taking away from the organization is that the Fair is at a very high level and I do not expect less. We've always done good business. We resumed clients after 15 years and we have achieved new clients and new opportunities. I think it's been a total success and we're going to repeat, obviously."

Finally, Guillermo Pajón, manager of Prisma (the logistics company that organized the event and director of the Autopartes Fair, said that it allows us to attract an important branch from the economic and social point of view, "because today we compete with cities such as Bogotá, Miami and Cartagena in becoming a business tourist center, combined with the holiday theme."
