International. Groupe Renault has confirmed the appointment of Duncan Minto as its new CFO, a position he will officially assume on March 1, 2025.
Minto will replace Thierry Piéton, who leaves the company on February 28 after nine years of outstanding work.
Duncan Minto, who has currently served as Alpine's Chief Financial Officer since October 2023, has a track record of more than 25 years in finance and a deep understanding of Groupe Renault and the automotive industry. In his new role, Minto will join the Leadership Team and report directly to Luca de Meo, CEO of Groupe Renault.
"With his 25 years of experience in finance and extensive knowledge of the Group and the automotive industry, Duncan will be fully prepared to continue and even accelerate the actions already underway. He will play a strategic role in the Group's transformation and in the successful execution of the plan to unleash the full potential of our company," said Luca de Meo, CEO of Groupe Renault.
With this appointment, Groupe Renault strengthens its management team at a key moment for the automotive sector, marked by major transformations towards electrification and technological innovation.
