Niterra Launches Dual Precious Metal Spark Plugs for EMEA Replacement Market

International. Niterra has expanded its range of spark plugs with the introduction of seven new references of precious double metal spark plugs for 4-wheelers.

The new spark plugs belong to NGK Ignition Parts' Laser Iridium/Laser Platinum line, a series known for its excellent ignition properties and durability. The spark plugs feature a laser-welded iridium or platinum alloy on the center electrode and a platinum chip on the ground electrode, ensuring exceptional long-term performance.

The new references cover popular vehicle applications available in Europe, such as models from BMW and Mini (SILZKGR8G8S), Ford (SILNAR8D7G), Audi, Cupra, VW (SILFER8D7ES), Skoda, Seat and VW (ILKER7B8EGS), and Mazda (ILZKAR8N6S), among others. The ILKAR7Q7 reference has been established as a cross-option for the Renault, Dacia and Nissan brands, and is compatible with recent models such as the Renault Clio 1.0-litre TCe 90, the Dacia Sandero and the Nissan Micra 1.0-litre IG-T 100.

These new references cover a car fleet of 5.4 million vehicles in 2024, with a projected increase to 6.49 million for next year, representing a growth of more than 20%, according to Niterra.
